Quilting Ministry

Quilting Ministry
Quilters meet on Mondays after 8:30 am until noon. Quilt tops are sewn together in homes, then assembled at church. Tops, batting, and backs are pinned and tied together for machine hemming, which is also done at the church.

We have an on-going fund for batting and other needed supplies. Donations are always appreciated.

Quilts vary in size, but 60 inches by 80 inches is standard. Baby quilts and lap robes are also made. (45 inches by 45 inches) Some are sold at our annual bazaar or as requested by individuals.

Quilts are given to

MEMBERS:
  • Young and old as they are baptized
  • Youth as they graduate from high school
  • Our shut-ins
  • Couples as they attend Via de Cristo
  • Those in need

Most quilts are donated to
